Hello people,
Okay found a bit of time here to put together our
second 'infomercial' blog entry.
Last week I said we would give some explantation as
to why we have created the NEW 3Ds Max ToolBox series.
Well it seems that the subject is one you have a number
of questions about, so hopefully this blog entry will
supply answers to you.
The first question to address is that of 'What exactly'
IS the Toolbox series? Essentially this series is the
successor to the 'Video Manual' Podcast that started in
this very Blog.
It's true, it isn't FREE as that Podcast was, but then,
the things you wanted us to do with that Podcast were
just not feasible in a free give away. A BIG request
was for higher quality Video! A second big request
was to go a little deeper in exploring Max tools! And
finally many wanted us to get these videos out on a
much more regular basis. Well!! ALL three of those
requests have been rolled into the ToolBox Series,
AND we have kept the cost of these particular modules
incredibly LOW.
Now a few users seem to feel that these modules are
aimed at the Max beginner and so have no use to them!
It is VERY true that new Max users will find the
ToolBox series extremely helpful in getting up to
speed with Max. BUT! We have on numerous occasions
been amazed that users who have many years of Max
experience behind are simply UNAWARE of many of Max's
cool Tools. Many have a workflow that works for them
but could be made so much easier by using the functions
that Max offers. This is where the strength of the
ToolBox series lies. Each module THOROUGHLY explores
the use of a particular Max tool and tries to
highlight some practical application that will benefit
the Max artist.
Check it out HERE
Anyway, enough about the ToolBox series, our next
infomercial will give you a little insight into the
modelling series. (If you prefer to listen though,
download the FREE intro video earlier in this Blog)
Until then,
Be Well
